ABSTRACT:

Mr. Egset will discuss how a Norwegian firm and known leader
in social responsibility, devises and implements its CSR strategy. His
talk will give particular attention to ways that firms based in Norway
think about social responsibility and define their priorities. Mr. Egset
will discuss the way that Statoil-Hydro is encouraging its suppliers to
go beyond compliance through the development of strong working
relationships. This has been a key element in building a Norwegian
oil company, and StatoilHydro is building on this approach in its
international expansion.
